Next Generation ACCUPLACER is a web-based assessment tool to determine skills in reading, writing, and math. It is untimed. Most students complete it in less than 90 minutes. All questions must be answered, and you can't go back over a previous question once you answer it. Test scores are available as soon as you complete the exam. The test is adaptive, which means that the difficulty of the test will tend to increase, depending on your success in earlier sections.

In the test of reading comprehension, you will answer multiple-choice questions; it simply tests the ability to understand material as it is already written.

During the grammar part of the test, you have multiple-choice items and are to choose the sentence with the best grammar.

The math section tests high school arithmetic, algebra and college-level math.

ACCUPLACER testing is available to seniors in April; email Mrs. V to test!
